Umbraco 17 LTS
A modern CMS platform, evolved through successive migrations from Umbraco 8 to the latest long-term support release.
Case study · Glenstone REIT plc
We partnered with Glenstone REIT, an internally managed UK real estate investment trust with more than 50 years of property investment experience, to transform and continually evolve its digital presence. From an initial brand refresh and website redesign to successive Umbraco migrations, property management integration and bespoke investor disclosure security, we've built a digital platform that brings Glenstone's portfolio and communications together.
Glenstone REIT needed a digital presence that reflected its position as an established, internally managed UK investment trust. Its website serves shareholders, occupiers and the wider market, making financial information, company news and its property portfolio accessible.
Our challenge was to bring the investment proposition to the forefront, create a more cohesive brand experience and establish a flexible technical foundation. What began as a rebrand and Umbraco website has evolved into a long-term digital partnership, encompassing platform modernisation, systems integration and bespoke security development.
A more confident, cohesive identity reflecting Glenstone's position in the property investment sector.
A new Umbraco website putting the investment proposition, portfolio and corporate information centre stage.
Two successive migrations, taking the website from Umbraco 8 through 16 to 17 LTS.

Bespoke access controls requiring explicit consent before protected investor PDFs can be viewed.
A simple confirmation screen isn't enough when dealing with sensitive investor disclosures. We developed a bespoke Access Gateway that makes acceptance of Glenstone's Terms and Conditions a prerequisite for accessing protected PDFs.
Consent is recorded server-side and checked by custom middleware whenever a protected document is requested. PDFs stored in a dedicated Umbraco Media folder are only served following successful validation, while unauthorised requests are redirected to the disclosures page.
The result is a controlled document-access process enforced at the server level, rather than relying on front-end interactions alone.
